When I got the bike, previous owner had fitted a side stand footprint extender, but when I went for the first road trip, days after I got the bike, it uncrewed itself and when I got home again it was gone.
So just before I went for the next even longer road trip I wanted to have one again, so I made one myself.
Aluminium plates and stainless screws worked like a charm.
